Whether you're hiking from point A to point B, you're interested in the Mill, or you were lured in by the smell of Kathy's plum and pecan cake, Hele mill is a relaxing, interesting and child-friendly place to visit.The Hele Corn Mill (or, 'Old Corn Mill') is a working musem in Hele, North Devon. It is open for guided tours by the family who run the mill and tea rooms, and is currently being renovated to be able to mill flour using the water wheel.We currently make our own flour here using the black stone mill, to create true whole grain, organic flour which is sold in the gift shop.Opposite to the mill is the Tea Rooms, where we sell a large range of home-made cakes, slices, cream teas and light refreshments.

A local independently-run museum with an eclectic flavour, Ilfracombe museum has eight rooms filled with treasures. We have natural history specimens from around the world and plenty to see about Ilfracombe's past. Come and experience a museum that is unique and family-friendly. Children can explore our insect, bat and spider specimens, have a go at a dinosaur quiz, or send Morse code messages. Try your hand at brass rubbing, or browse our great value gift shop. We also have extensive photographic and family history resources for Ilfracombe. Our museum is a perfect all-weather attraction and can be easily accessed by wheelchair. Pay parking adjacent at the Landmark theatre. Children under 16 FREE, £3 for adults, £2.50 concessions.

Visit Ilfracombe harbour and book a trip aboard our modern charter fishing boat "Jay Jay". We offer fishing trips year round from as little as £10pp inclusive of all rods and tackle. Our mackerel trips are a great way to entertain the kids and you can even keep your catch for dinner. The boat is fitted with the latest navigation and safety equipment and is licensed for 12 passengers. We can also cater for stag and hen parties and provide coastal and sunset cruises on request.
