The museum is not curated with any process in mind, but it offers a superb collection of artefacts and testimonies from the 1944 Anzio landings.

This is interesting to visit due to the sulphur springs within the wooded area.So as well as visiting a wood you get to see a very rare site of the sulphur springs for free.

Well worth a visit for those who are interested in the 1944 Anzio landings. The cemetery is beautifully maintained.

Absolutely fantastic lunch, the staff are amazing and friendly, despite our poor Italian they helped us choose and even gave us a free Italian liqueur. It’s a must try in a beautiful location. Grazie!

We discovered this place while searching online for public swimming pools, and it was less than 10min walking distance from our rental house in Lazio! We arrived hoping to use it but you must book in advance - €8 full day or €6 half day including umbrella and sunbeds, which we thought was reasonable. We booked for the next day.
The staff were lovely and friendly, and did their best to communicate in English, though it was obviously a place for locals. We saw many children come to lessons in the swim lanes, while we could swim freely alongside them at the same time. The shallow end made it safe for our children while we watched from the sunbeds, in either sun or shade. There is a small snack bar onsite, toilets and showers, and the place was very clean and well maintained.
We enjoyed it so much we booked again for the next day, but unfortunately we were unable to go a second time due to sickness. If we are in the area again, we will definitely visit again - grazie mile for a great experience!

Not to missed! Lovely sea and History. Sometimes people leave garbage on the free beach. And this is a pity. Suggest to avoid July and August!

A sombre experience but somehow uplifting to see, even after all this time, how well tended the site is. The grass is immaculate and the planting between the headstones is beautiful. The graves are ordered in regiment which really brings home how many men were lost and the saddest was one just marked "a sailor", it really brought home the cost of war. Having said that it was still a beautiful and peaceful place and I was glad I had taken the time to visit..

Sandy beach and plenty to eat near by. A great place to have fun by the beach. A firm favourite for the locals.
