  "I had read about the significance of this cathedral in history, and put it on my agenda of things to do in Scotland. We were so glad that we stopped. Upon entering the Cathedral, we were warmly greeted by a volunteer in the church who gave us a quick synopsis of the this grand place. After walkin..."g around for a few minutes, this same volunteer joined us and began to tell us about the Cathedral, and even showed us how we could walk up some stairs to get a better view from a level up. He had lots of stories to share with us, and he was quite happy to spend as much time as we had questions to answer. He even took us out to the cemetery to show us a grave of a Scottish soldier who had died in the American Civil War. The town is small, but the people are very friendly.
