  "We were amazed at the size and condition of this amphitheater. I think it is the 6th largest Roman amphitheater. It is situated in the center of Pula and is easy to get to and park if you are driving. The 40 kn entry fee is worth it. There could be a bit more explanation about it's construction. ..."Displays in the underground passages detail how it was used ( bloody and deadly combat) It gives you pause to think about the lives of the people who were forced to perform here.
