Al Sahra Desert Resort Equestrian Centre offering horse riding in Dubai, livery, riding lessons and culture tours is located just off the Dubai-Al Ain Road and is set amongst acres of rolling sand dunes.The Equestrian Centre location ideally lends itself to horse riding in Dubai, where riders of all abilities can go out into the natural Dubai desert, accompanied by a member of the riding team. Riders will get the chance to view the stunning Dubai skyline from a distance and occasionally witness a sighting of a desert fox or gazelle, who roam freely on the land. Al Sahra Equestrian Centre offers the opportunity to ride our magnificent camels in their natural habitat. This is an exciting 1.5 hours experience. You will hear about the history of the camel, get to taste camel milk and then enjoy a 40 min camel ride. With you perched safely in the saddle, our experienced camel handler will lead your trusty camel out into the desert to watch the sunrise or the sunset over Dubai. Camels are known as the ships of the desert- they will carry you safely across the desert and back again.
