Its purpose at the time it was constructed is still not clear, and the original hypothesis, that it was used for irrigation, no longer holds much water. In the centre, is an island with the West Mebon temple. A great spot for walks, or a short boat ride out to the island. You can also hire hammocks for about a dollar, and picnic on the freshly prepared food sold from about a dozen stalls. « less

They had spent five years owning and running a successful Bubble Tea stateside before coming to Cambodia. Our goal is to give you great tasting smoothies and bubble teas made with natural, original recipes using the highest quality ingredients and done in a sanitary way. Our specialty drink, bubble tea, is modern Asian invention in which sweet milk teas or fruit smoothies have Asian tapioca pearls added for a fun experience. Bubble tea(also called boba tea) has been very popular in Asia, the USA, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdoms. Most places use premixed powders for their bubble teas which often have artificial ingredients. However, at Panda Pearl Cafe, we endeavor to use all natural ingredients. So our bubble teas are healthy and taste way better! We also want to introduce the tourists of Siem Reap to the local fruits and flavors that so many Cambodians already enjoy. Thank you for coming in and we appreciate your feedback. « less
