"We had an eleven hour stop-over in Narita and were initially planning to go off on our own to explore, but decided instead to book a tour with Narita Rainbow. This is by far the best decision we made. Katsumi was so quick to reply to my emails and answer all our questions. He suggested we see The Bi..."ggest Buddha and then follow with a tour of Narita town, including temples and gardens. This tour exceeded our expectations. Karsumi is so knowledgeable, friendly, funny and personable. He is the type of person you meet and instantly feel comfortable with. He showed us not only the beauty of Japan, but we learned so much about their culture. There were four people in our group and it was wonderful to have such personal service. Don't miss taking a tour with Narita Rainbow Tours; you will miss a wonderful opportunity to see a side of Japanese culture you would never experience on your own.

"There is in fact not many viewing scene in Narita shi and thus, this temple becomes a 'must see' one. But it's great and beautiful and same as the park connecting it."
"I was in Narita for about 24 hours from the afternoon of April 29. I met a friend in Narita and we went to the Narita Shinshoji. By the time we got there it was dark. We thought the temple might be closed but it was still open. We went it and we were the only people there! It was amazing. We wa..."lked around the temple in the night and I remember we climbed the steps up to a part of the temple. We walked for awhile and then a very large temple appeared in front of us. The moon was almost full that night and the light from the moon illuminated the temple. As we walked around it, there was a small pond down some stairs on one side of it. The frogs were croaking loudly and it sounded like they were all singing together. The only person we saw while we were in the temple was a security guard. She was so surprised. She expected the temple would have many people since it was Golden Week, but there was nobody there. It was amazing! Highly recommend visiting if you are in Narita.
