"My guide for this walk (Mariya) was very good - enthusiastic and proficient in English, and with detailed knowledge of the content. The tour covered the history, customs and significant sites in the Hakata area and for me the highlights were the insights into Japanese culture and the opportunity to ..."ask questions.
The meeting point is beside the big Information Centre in the Hakata railway station and was easy to find.

"The thing I love the most about Tochoji Temple is not the giant wooden Buddha or the old age of the temple, but the small but immaculate garden in the compound. You can literally sit and stare at it all day. It evokes a true sense of calmness when you need it. The entire area is also great for photo..."s on a sunny day.
This is another "must" place if you are visiting Fukuoka.
