"We went from Moscow to Ulan Ude in easy stages (Ekaterinburg; Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Ulan Ude) in Mid-May, using ordinary Russian trains, and all of us - including my wife who objects to sleeping on trains - enjoyed the trip immensely. "Very nice esperience! Lake Baikal is very impressive and cleraness of its water is something unbelievable. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to make the lake tour with Baikal railway, but what we saw was really nice. We stop for about 2 hours and have a look to local market and some food in a..." small place called "Baikal Dream". Atmosphere of the village is a bit out of the time, but nature is superb and lake itself is really something impressive. It was really beautifull with a soft rain, so i think with sun should be fantastic

"7 hours on the Trans-Siberian Railway form Omsk to Novosibirsk and it was a really great experience! Train pass through a magnificent nature with wide field, woods and very rare small village. We had dinner at restaurant of the train and it was very good for a honest price (part of the cost is alrea..."dy included in train ticket if you have business class one. Very important, train has no seats, but beds in independent small room!
