There are bus stops all along the way but you will miss some of the most spectacular spots if you do not walk on the path which does not run alongside the road. Many tour groups only stop at the bus stops so while those places are nice and not to be missed, they can get crowded. Carry water and your own snacks, there is not much beyond water, instant noodles and tea available.   "I visited the park in March 2013 which was the low season. The entrance fee was only half the normal rate but I soon realised why when I entered the park. Since its the dry season, a few of the areas and walking trails were closed to prevent forest fires. I can understand the decision and was happy ..."that they were honest enough to give discount. March was a quiet month to travel and you see more of nature and people. But of cos the trees were bare and not the prettiest month for the park. " More >

  "I visited Jiuzhaogou twice, first time was 13 years ago during autumn and latest one is in Spring, I am glad to see it is still as stunning as 13 years ago, and overall service and arrangement are improved so much, especially the restaurant and toilet, the green bus are much more professional nowad..."ays and more frequent. Only cons is the crowd and some irresponsible tourists are still behave ugly in the park. I also visited to Plitvice Lake National Park in Croatia, which is very similar feathere, but I still prefer the lake in Jiuzhaigou and the waterfall in Plitvice Lake.
