  "One perfect day was 29th April 2013... I met up with family in Patong and was whisked away almost immediately to the pier where it all began. Out to the islands an hour or so away on the most beautiful cloudless sky in a very smart looking boat and into the blue of the Andamann Sea. I have never eve..."r seen water of such surreal colours. Amazingly aqua/ torquoise.....After snorkelling and lazing in the clearest of waters,we beached onto one island of the four where we drank cold beers with ice, partaking of a mouth watering feast before frolicking with fish in the crystalline waters at high tide. The fish were mainly swallowtail (dart) which I sometimes fish for in Byron Bay Australia, but I have never seen them lazily swimming around and next to you..and big ones too! Surely they have never seen a baited hook! Anyway, a light shower on the way home after visiting the fourth island did not dampen our spirits... suffice to say it gave some brief respite to the sunburn which was graduall... " More >

  "We did our tour out of khao lak so traveling time to the pier was reasonable! Boat ride a bit bumpy but our lovely lady boy hostess 'gaga' was wonderful in looking after all the sickies!! The islands are beautiful with powder white fine sand and crystal blue waters. We were very lucky to swim with a..." turtle. Beautiful experience. There were not that many interesting fish and the coral is brown. Our tour company Fantastic Tours by memory were excellent. The speed boats were well maintained, the staff helpful and the lunch provided was also of a reasonable quality and plenty of it!! Worth a visit. " More >

  "The speedboat drive for ca 1.5 hour out to Similan Islands and out there it was fantastic snorkeling! Lots of fish and even a big turtle! (Bring a banana for them). Great landscape with strange rocks. "
