"What a great experience. Make sure you time your visit to arrive just before the elephants make their way across the road to the river. We positioned ourselves right next to the gate and got some great footage. You can then follow the elephants down to the river for more great shots. In the orphanag..."e you will have the opportunity to feed an elephant and talk to the keepers. Enjoyed every minute.

"This is a nice trip, the elephants you see are able to roam free and are not chained up. You can also go down to the river at certain times to see the elephants bathing which is probably the best bit. For more money you can give baby elephants a bottle of milk. There is also an area where disabled e..."lephants are which is quite sad - it is good that they are so well looked after and able to be rehabilitated, but it is upsetting to see them chained up. Would recommend a visit, but the elephant transit home further south is also good.

"What a sight to see the elephants crossing the road and walking down to the river for bath time. The combination of fully grown and babies made for an interesting couple of hours, we had lunch in a cafe overlooking the river and then went to the Orphanage for the bottle feeding at 2p.m. It was a gre..."at opportunity to talk to the staff about the elephants and the reason that they were in the orphanage. Worth the expense to do this.
