The cruise to the island takes close to 2 hours and during that time they serve fresh tropical fruit and all the fruit juice and non-alcoholic beverages that you wish for. They have 2 "jacuzzis" and 2 nets at the front of the boat for folks to lounge in during the trip to and from the island. "I was on a cruise on April 27th and really excited to be in Costa Rica for the first time as it is my family background. My expectations were very high and my friends kept telling me to lower them down as things could never be as perfect as I imagined. Gio Tours was recommended by a friend and fro..."m the very first time we contacted Gian Carlo on the mail he seemed not only very gentle and respectful but it showed his vast knowledge on the country. The answers to my mail were almost immediate and accurate. As we came down from the ship, him and his van were waiting for us with a very personalized sign --loved that detail!—And we were ready to go. We followed his recommendation and took the 6 in 1 tour. The places were fantastic! "Make sure to stop by the gift shop to visit the macaws and parrots. Just don't get too close or they'll try to peck your eyes out. Also make sure to explore the end of the beach. You'll find hundreds of hermit crabs crawling through the shells during low tide."
