"This is a full-day tour and covers nearly everything on the island. You start with a nice boat ride to Tahaa's motu (next to the 5* hotel "Le Tahaa") and you'll have a 30 minutes snorkling through the coral garden there. It is the best snorkling we did in all of Polynesia. A mild current flows you t..."hrough this labyrinth, very slowly, so no efforts need to be made. You can simply enjoy snorkling and the marine life there is exceptionel. Please make sure you don't walk on the corals, it is a fragile ecosystem. When we were the, many out of our group just walked all over, stupid!
From there you can see Bora Bora very close, the visit at the nearby pearl farm is interesting, nobody pushes you to buy their stuff. The visit of a vanilla plantation is interesting too. The family who runs this tour also has a vanilla farm, the smell of the drying vanilla beans is soo nice. They have nice souvenirs too. The dinner is typical polynesian and VERY good.

I will say I was pleasantly surprised to see his smiling face in Bora Bora when the ships took Raiatea out of their itinerary. He is the first man always in the line of 5-6 other tour operators.
When you tender to the port starting from the left that is Stephan. He told me he has to travel to Bora Bora just to get work because of the reduced stops in Raiatea. So he travels a fare way to take people out for the day. That is how I understood it? Yo...
