The guided tour through the vast park (a converted farm) was an engaging affair with much information been parted as to habits, individual peculiarities and feeding customs. For this we would like to thank her again and convey our highest appreciation. We would have loved to stay one day more in Krueger and we would have loved to have more time for the Panorama Route. Although the private lodge was a very convenient stay and the people have done outstanding, we had the impression they are driven to much to satisfy the “BIG 5 expectations” . The nature and the animals are just part of a business model. For us, just to see the difference, one evening / night drive and one morning drive would have been enough. You get to go into the enclosures with the Cheetahs and at the end for a little extra your entire party can pet a cheetah. This is something that is really well worth the extra few rand for a once in ..."a lifetime experience, at least for us Americans. The guide was wonderfully well versed in the animals habits and could answer any questions that were posed to her. We saw many beautiful and exotic animals and got to see them fed (go to the afternoon session to see this)and learned all about the animals as well.
