"we stopped here on our way to the Oregon Caves.it was an hour worth spending in the redwoods. the gondola ride was spectacular and offered a stunning view of the Klamath back country to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west"
"the end of the trail museum is one of the finest private collections in the world.the end of the trail sculpture, carved from a single block, is located in front of the gift shop. www.treesofmystery.net"
"I almost missed this one, and I was staying just down the street at the Requa Inn. With so many things to see in the area I nearly overlooked the overlook.
It must be seen to be believed.
The old radar station that used to be at the end of the road is gone. Literally. They closed it down in..." the 90s but the buildings were left behind. Apparently, during the last few years, the Park Service has removed them all and added fill to re-create the original contours of the hill. For a kick Google "Klamath Radar Station" or "Klamath Air Force Station" and look at some photos of the old site, then head to the end of the road and see for yourself. The only thing left is a road to the top, a concrete/asphalt pad at the top, and some modern relay towers. Hard to imagine that anything at all was there.
