"Overall, the whole family had fun on this tour. The guides kept us interested in the local scenery and made everyone feel safe. However, there were a couple of cons that make this 4 stars vice 5. First when we arrived, parking was a nightmare-like everywhere in La Jolla. Give yourself at least 30..." extra minutes to park (if not longer). When we went to check in, the place was beyond chaotic. We had extra time between check-in and the tour, so we walked to the beach and got pictures...plus, some nearby fro-yo. Even after we checked in-got our gear, we had to wait a while before we got our kayak lesson and hit the ocean. I was sad that we only went in one sea cave, and for safety reasons we were guided in by one of the guides (who was swimming).
The best parts were the sea lions and the guide's stories. The staff was friendly and fun.

"Jodi made the tour enjoyable and great learning experience, especially knowing I am new to the culinary world.
She took me to an amazing Farmers market, explained a whole new world of vegetables, fruits and oils i did not even know about. Then she took me to a number of other places selling coffee...", to cooking ware (saved me some money with her discount).
Finally, she followed up with me by sending me some recipes, I used and were terrific.
If you are looking to discover all the wonderful places for La Jolla/San Diego have to offer to enhance your culinary knowledge or just like food , I would highly recommend Jodi.
I cant wait to go back and taking a cooking class from her on my next trip.
Scott
