"The whole experience was amazing and so well done. You are allocated a time to take a bus trip up the mountain and the views are breath taking. The castle stands on top and it is opulence at its best. Hearst Castle was built with luxury, entertainment and extravagance - Mr Hearst entertained the ..."rich and famous of the entertainment industry and the wider community. The banquet halls, the outdoor and indoor marble pool are but a few sights to behold. The guided inside tour was interesting and informative. It is hard to explain so take the time out to see it yourself.

"Amazing to think that the seals have chosen one spot on this vast coast line to hibernate. At first site they appear dead but on closer inspection there are hundreds of them resting. It is a site to behold, but watch the road as the rookery is easily missed"
"We mistakenly went down the PCH and did not get there until 3:20 so we could only have one tour and we choose the Grand Rooms Tour ($25). I would have loved for my husband to see the upstairs. We had a very enthusiastic tour guide, but the tour is only 45 minutes and was very full. The grounds ar..."e beautiful.
