I'm always happy to support wildlife rescue and it's quite enjoyable to stroll the grounds and admire all the rescued wildlife (mostly birds) as well as the diverse assortment of trees & plantings. It's also interesting to explore the histo..."ry of the site and walk through the Wray residence to get a glimpse of what life in 1930s old Florida was like.
The only negative was the tram ride. Our driver/narrator was Margaret and I have to assume that either she was eager to end her shift & go home or else she is simply the wrong person for the job. She sped through the uneven terrain of the route and I actually almost fell out of the open tram at one point. Even worse, her narration was awful - she stammered quite a bit and didn't seem to really know what she was talking about. She'd barely slow down and only pause momentarily at key places along the way - not even long enough to raise the camera and click the shutter. The ...
