Want to experience a true view of south west Florida through the eyes of a native? Join Captain John Houston on one of his customized guided tours into the heart of Old Florida. Born and raised on Dinkins Bayou of Sanibel Island, John spent his childhood exploring the surrounding waters and educating himself on its ecosystem. Being a fourth generation Floridian, He has had the rare opportunity to learn firsthand how the rugged local history has shaped Southwest Florida into what it is today.

The best day of your vacation will be spent cruising aboard your private sailing sloop, the New Moon ...The New Moon is a beautifully appointed, fully equipped 39 ft. sailing vessel with full facilities and enclosed head for your comfort. You'll see the islands from the fresh and exciting perspective of Gulf and Bay waters, the dolphins with their perpetual smiles, swimming beside the boat, the manatees barely showing themselves and the sea otters playing around the docks are all just a part of our world.

"Kudos to Yalli (spelling?) for an outstanding time! We did the stand-up paddle board Yoga while we were on vacation last week. We have visited Sanibel/Captiva for the last ten years and this is something that we will definitely make an annual event! I was a novice at the stand-up paddle board, as we..."ll as a novice at Yoga, and the instructor made me feel comfortable right from the start. No one in our group was very experienced, so don't let inexperience deter you from trying this activity. Thanks again for a fabulous experience -- the two hours flew by!

"The boat ride was enjoyable and the island was very interesting. Trees had been damaged by a storm a few years ago and parts of the island look like a deserted island. Saw a couple of interesting birds and the shelling can be good depending on the day. "
