On the ride home our ten year old grandaughter decided this could be her "best vacation ever" and I'm sure the airboat ride was a deciding factor. As a sixty-something year old kid, I was equally impressed. As an actual "Florida cr..."acker", locally born and raised (along with his dad), Capt. Lawrence sure knew where to look for big gators, baby gators, and gaggles of local birds. He kept the kids and adults engrossed in what he had to tell us about what we were seeing and experiencing. The airboat and his skill handling it provided a thrill ride for all of us as well. We have more "northern" visitors coming to town next month and we'll without a doubt be back aboard Capt.
