"The quality and authenticity of the museum is grand. Greenfield is the location of many places Riley wrote about; you can still wade in Bran dywine Creek, for example. He isn't a classic poet but his homespun topics and presentztionmake for enjoyable reading."
"If you enjoy history and/or literature you will enjoy a tour of the Riley Home. James Whitcomb Riley was known as the Hoosier Poet many of his works are on display. "
"The home was so impressive! Every detail has been cherished as it was preserved. The furniture, the wall hangings, the wall treatments, the lighting, the dishes, the banisters, the fireplaces and all the decorative touches make a statement .... CLASS. The tour was top notch and all three guides (fir..."st floor, second floor and kitchen) were terrific. It was easy to feel as if I had stepped back to another era of manners, standards and expectations. Mr. Riley's presence is felt everywhere. I would have paid 20 $ for the tour, instead of the meager 4 $ charged.
