The Red River is the picturesque setting for Bossier City's unique shopping and entertainment destination, The Outlets at Louisiana Boardwalk. Across the Red River from downtown Shreveport, the project's first phase opened in November, 2003, with the state's first Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World. The remainder of Boardwalk opened in May 2005 and joined a vibrant casino district nestled along the majestic riverfront for nearly a half-mile. The Outlets at Louisiana Boardwalk is the first lifestyle center to open in the state of Louisiana offering outlet shopping, an entertainment district and riverfront dining.

"slots are good if you choose the right ones! Craps that night lost my butt...you gotta find a LOUD table it's the only way. 3 card poker was a success and of course MY FAV texas hold'em. those poor people didn't see me comin!!"
"Our hotel was close to the Louisiana Boardwalk, and we decided to head there one evening to walk around and see a movie. There are not only shops & restaurants that you can find in other parts of the country (Buffalo Wild Wings, Joe's Crab Shack, Bass Pro Shops, Gap, Nike), but also some local ones..." as well (Uncle Buck's, Chocolate Crocodile, Lilah's Bakery). This way you have the familiar with the thrill of the unique. The movie theater is nice, and easily accessible. If you have a few hours to kill, and gambling isn't your thing, a trip to the Boardwalk is a great way to spend that time.

"The 1,000,000.00 Wall was cool to see and it gave the impression this was a "real" casino. It was stacked really well with multiple floors but overall space of gambling area was tight. There was a mini mall like Caesar's Palace in Vegas that was really cool very high end stuff!
There is a buffet..." in the casino that was interesting. Food was not really hot but tasted good. Chef was over the top and followed me around a little too much asking what I needed help with. Dessert Buffet area was bad [--].
