This one, Dr. Loosen Riesling 2010, has only 8.5% alcohol, but a mellow yet full-bodied flavor that's like honey on the tongue and manages to be fruity, but not too sweet and a little dry at the same time. The red is from Gascony and is better than my former favorite Pinot Noir. The white was $8 and the red was $12 and I've paid much more and ended up not finishing the bottle because it disappointed me. If you like wine, cheese, good bread or all of the above, a trip to the Blue HIll Wine Shop is well worth the drive.
