What travellers are saying
- ChemornMohegan Lake, NY219 contributionsEnjoyable visit for the day. It was off season was it wasn’t crowded at all. I’m sure during season this place can get crazy. Typical beach community, lots of souvenir shops, beach shops, food stands. Public restroom. Parking lots that offer restroom and showers. On street parking options as well. The beach itself was clean. Average waves. Enjoyed watching the dogs having fun as well.Written 9 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- amusementparkguy1104 contributionsHaving been many years since we were here, a friend and I put it on our itinerary for this year. The amusement area has many rides put close together much like a carnival or state fair. Individual tickets or a wristband is available. The rides seem to be in good condition. Employees could be a little friendlier. One drawback is there are no water fountains. You have to pat for even tap water. This is wrong, management. I'm going to call you on it. Tap water should be free. Bottled water can be charged.Written 16 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ChemornMohegan Lake, NY219 contributionsNot really fair to judge this place since I visited after season. Most of the food stands and restaurants were closed. Had 1 tshirt stand open and 1 food stand open. A lot more there but closed. Only restaurant open was Hooligans which was good. Bathrooms for general public were closed. Would love to see it during summer season some day.Written 9 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - KspellerEnfield, UK911 contributionsTook the teenagers for a quick round as the weather wasn't great. Was a lot of fun. Reasonably priced and if you want to go round again it's only another $4. Can choose which course you want to play and it's immaculately clean. It was busy but there wasn't too much waiting, staff were lovely. Worth a visit.Written 18 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Susan G3 contributionsA beautiful precious place to celebrate a wedding! My son and his bride had a wonderful wedding ceremony and the charm of the building only added to such a joyous event.Written 5 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Lone Pine won a gold medal at the 2023 World Beer Cup recently for their Imperial Maple Sunday. As much as I love maple and craft beer, I found this too sweet for my tastes, but the blueberry sour was good. The beer garden hasn't really changed from what it was before, except for the new branding, etc. They also have an indoor space and plan to be open year-round and serve more food options. The prices are a bit higher than at their location in Portland, but that's probably because it's in OOB.Written 24 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Resie82Scarborough, Maine, United States62 contributionsNice course with an interesting layout but it's not female friendly. There is one port-a-potty on the 13th hole and it's disgusting. Getting to the clubhouse between 9 and 10 involves going way out of your way. There used to be a snack shop/bathroom near the 9th green but that is gone, replaced with yet another housing development. They keep squeezing in more and more houses so close to the holes. No wonder many of them have put up nets to protect their patios. Also, no water on the course and again going to the clubhouse at the turn to buy something is well out of the way. No beverage cart on a Sunday either. They do have a nice clubhouse and restaurant.Written 12 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
