"What beautiful views from atop of the tunnel. We hiked this in early June - we did not have a gflashlight to go through the tunnel, but we managed. We then hiked back over the tunnel following the well marked path.
We cannot wait to go back again and take the kids!"
"We found this during our morning walk around Cumberland. There is an audio that you can play anytime which explains about the cabin and how it was used during history. It was extremely interesting. It is part of a historical walk through Cumberland."
"On June 9, 2013 I rode in the cab of the 1916 Baldwin 2-8-0. I lodged myself for 3 hours behind the fireman's seat, and bounced and sweated, and had the time of my life! It was the best $225 I've ever spent. Sure they've got deisel, but until you've traveled by steam you've never ridden a part of hi..."story.
My wife rode by herself in the dining car. She has problem climbing stairs, but they've got a ramp for people who are just riding the train. The staff made sure that she was comfortable and paid special attention because she was by herself.
For anyone who has the money, and can climb into the cab, its the ride of a lifetime. Five stars isn't enough for this attraction! Its worth the money, and the coating of coal you'll wind up with after more than 3 hours in the cab.
