Large, beautiful, historic carousel with 68 hand-carved horses and two chariots. Lovingly restored and cared for by volunteers, who operate it in warm weather, May 1-Oct. 31 each year. Children under 3 must be accompanied by an adult; other safety rules are presented in a brief pre-ride speech. This carousel operated at the Minnesota State Fair from 1914 to 1989 and was saved by the community from being broken up and sold at auction. Enjoy!
