  "I also heard of this location thru TripAdvisor and stopped there on our girls weekend trip to Rocheport. We all love walking around gardening centers so it was a good stop for us. I really expected, however, that there be some signs in the area directing us to the location.....and there weren't. ..."We actually nearly drove past it since there as no signage at the entrance. The selection is very good for plants, but the prices are higher than you will pay at Home Depot, Lowes or Walmart. There are numerous greenhouses, plus a large selection of garden statuary (also priced high), but it is a relaxing atmosphere. We didn't see any of the long-haired cattle while we were there, but there are some exotic birds in one of the greenhouses, so kids will love seeing them. The rose selection looked exceptional. Very large, healthy plants. Kinda doubt I will go back, but a good one-time visit if you are in the area. " More >

  "The trail is awesome and very well maintained. We started our ride in Sedalia and rode to Boonville for lunch. It was about a 40 mile ride. Had lunch at a great restaurant on Main Street called The Phoenix. Really neat old building with great pub food in a casual atmosphere. Traveled with 6 peo..."ple and we ordered a variety of food and all was great. Highly recommend the Ahi Tuna sandwich it is sashimi grade and served with a delicious aioli sauce. Ask for Jeff the owner and he can give you the inside scoop on Boonville and the area. From there we bike to Rocheport. Not a very pretty part of the trail until you get to the end. Once you pass Rocheport you then have the bluffs to one side and the Missouri River on the other and it is very nice. Key tips for riders Take plenty of water. No place to stop from Sedalia until you get to Pilot Grove about 26 miles. Pace yourself and review the elevation. You have to pedal the whole time on the trail as the elevation up or down is mi...
