Whitefish Mountain Resort, in northwest Montana, is noted for its laid-back vibe, world-class skiing, and unbeatable value. The resort sees an average of 300 inches of snow on its 3,000 acres, and is as well known for a pleasant lack of lift lines as for its consistently good snow conditions. When the snow melts, Whitefish Mountain Resort becomes home to thrilling zip lines and an alpine slide, world-class downhill and cross-country mountain biking, and the unique Walk in the Treetops, in addition to spectacular hiking, water sports, fly fishing, whitewater rafting, Glacier National Park, and more available in the greater Whitefish area. It is the perfect base camp for a summer visit to Montana’s majestic Flathead Valley.

"The Wave is big enough to accommodate many people so there is typically never over crowding. Right after school drop off, pick up and 5pm are the busiest times I avoid. There are often great specials for 60 day memberships. The gym is clean and I am always greeted upon arrival and departure."
"I love Black Star! They have some amazing seasonals, so I would recommend always trying whatever brew is on tap for the season. This is especially great if you like bear with flavor and dimension!
Don't be afraid to strike up a conversation with the locals. This is a popular local hang out, and ..."they will all share tips about local camping, hiking and places to eat.
