We learned a lot about the different kinds of grapes and the wines they produce. The different wines we tasted were very good as were the cheeses and other accompaniments."

He knew about wines, wine making and the history of Santorini, very enthusiastic and passionate about wine making - you can particularly feel his passion about the local Santorini wine industry...." We visited three wineries, one modern, one a family run winery and a relatively new one on the coast. We learned a lot about the wine tasting too. We actually purchased some Vin Santo and a red wine vinegar. After the tour Dimitris had another pick up in Oia so he offered to take us there and would have returned us to our Hotels later. However we choose to make our own way back. He went out of his way to make our day so pleasant. We would recommend this tour . " More >
