"This is a favorite place to hike on our annual camping trips to Brevard! (And if you like to camp, check out Ash Grove Mtn Cabins & Camping). Hiking along the river is great if you love listening to the sound of rushing water. The falls on the Horsepasture River are well worth the hike. The view fr..."om the new visitor center is also gorgeous.

"Our newest state park is really great. I highly recommend it. Located in really scenic area of county. Drive the loop road, stop and picnic, hike, etc. New visitor center."
"It's a short hike up to a viewing area and as it had rained the day before, Whitewater falls was very "white" with water. I saw lots of waterfalls in the area and this was by far one of my favorites. There is a small fee, $1 per person to enter, but well worth it. The stroll back down the trail to..." the parking lot offered some amazing views down the valley.
