Kelleys Island Attractions: What to do in Kelleys Island
"This is pretty interesting and does take only about 15-20 minutes to explore. I'm glad I saw it, and I learned some neat things, but when you only see part of one, it kind of looks like a big ditch. I can see how it bores some people. Still doesn't mean that you shouldn't see it once. Just don't pla..."n your whole day around it. Check out the beach or the winery, or both.

"If you're interested in natural history at all, you have to visit the grooves, located in the state park and close to public beach and campground on the northern part of Kelley's Island. A few hundred yards before we arrived driving north (one could bike from the ferry end of KI easily), my mobile p..."hone gave a series of beeps to let me know I'd gotten in range of Canadian cell service (I have Verizon) and roaming charges would apply. "Screams "Vacation!" Lots of signs, outdoor tables, bar next door to restaurant (with own bar), next door to....souveniers, coffee shop, ice cream stand. Family ate in restaurant, more like a beach bar in decor, with music inside and out. You line up to order at the window from chalked-in menus on wa..."ll- we got pizzas only having been told that this is THE best pizza, sandwich and salad joint on the island. Food delivered to table, along with water refills. Pleasant staff despite having crowds all day and running out of some ingredient/toppings. The food was really good for what it is. The Italian and the pulled pork sandwiches sounded really good, but we were only there for one meal. The bar had lots of interesting-sounding beers on tap. Nuthin fancy. Would go again.
