- Richard THamilton, Canada155 contributionsI have been to many Broadway style shows and the production quality here is as good or better than any of those. This is a must see experience. Great for all the family and worth every dollar.Written 8 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Joanna6214 contributionsthe family was very nice and welcoming ! - Marisa AshtonMedford, NJ2 contributionsAbsolutely loved our experience here! We did the Premium Package Tour on March 13th, which included the farmhouse tour, a 90-minute bus tour, and a self-guided tour of the rest of the grounds where the farmhouse is. Joe and Kristin were wonderful guides, and we really enjoyed the entirety of our time here! The bus portion of the tour allowed us to stop at two local Amish businesses (a grocery store, and a country store/pony farm), and it was really cool to interact with Amish locals and see more of how they live. I certainly think you get your money's worth out of the premium ticket, and I already can't wait to come back!Written 16 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ontheroadtogether2harveys lake pa99 contributionsWow, has this place grown! We used to come here when our now, adult sons, were little, and we loved it. Such sweet memories, because they always had such a good time here. It was fun then, but we were here last weekend for our great nieces 10th birthday, and we were in shock when we saw how much they have expanded! So nicely landscaped now! There is soooo much to do for the kids, you could easily spend 2 days if it is crowded. The admission price is very reasonable. $34.50 per person. That includes so many attractions. They do have paintball, which is extra, but notbsure of the price. We did not eat, so I don't know about the food prices. They have a couple of breweries and a winery there also. $10 for a glass of wine or wine slushy (the watermelon wine slushy was awesome). Beer was $8 a glass. Parking is free. If you have young kids, anywhere from, 2 to 15, don't hesitate to take them here. I can't wait to take our future grandkids here, and make more memories.Written 1 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FernWanderlustAnderson, IN704 contributionsNice little shop with the most inexpensive Whoopi pies we found. Free to visit the animals. There are pellets to purchase. The mini ponies were darling. One little guy wanted me to open a box in the corner and another mom stomped for pellets. They have some extended visit options that looked enjoyable. There is a nice little path that you can walk around and see other types of animals.
I would definitely stop here and pet these little darlings and buy some snacks next time I’m in the area.Written 22 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The guide was very knowledgeable in milling flour and the workings of the mill. The house and gardens gave a picture of life 100 years ago for the family.Written 23 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - thewanderingvAddis Ababa, Ethiopia27 contributionsWe did two tours - the first (we baked bread and made cider) was so good we went back then next day for the farm tour. It remains one of the highlights not just of our Pennsylvania trip but of our kids’ lives! They still talk about the visit even though it has been more than a year since our visit. Highly recommended!!Written 10 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- MasterGinCT11 contributionsMy 11 year old was anxious to get here and it was closed Friday afternoon so we made sure we got there after it opened on Saturday morning. They do not allow large bags or pocket books inside so enter without carrying anything extra. Bring your money and your keys. We purchased mostly doll clothes for our American Girl dolls. We love the Amish outfits with the authentic looking white prayer caps. A great place to visit for any doll lovers.Written 16 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- RJN612Pottsville, PA453 contributionsFirst visit here and we were well pleased. There are three buildings, one which is mostly furniture but worth searching. The main building is packed full and prices are generally reasonable.Written 11 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PJSONYFairfax, VA64 contributionsService was slow, food okay however with so many places from which to choose from in the area, they probably have room for improvement in order to continue to grow.Written 24 October 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RJN612Pottsville, PA453 contributionsThe main building is well stocked with a wide array of items, neatly displayed and priced reasonably. The outside section has more outdoor and repurposing items but is worth combing through. Overall, it is a definite place to stop when searching in the area.Written 11 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Honesty_Girl_NJBergenfield, NJ89 contributionsIt was lovely to see the rolling landscape and see this farm... for us - OUR small children didn't.... maybe it was lack of nap - make sure your kids can handle a slow paced day;Written 28 July 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
