The Shoeless Joe Jackson Museum is located in the beautiful West End of Greenville, SC. When you come to visit the museum, you will actually be visiting the home that Shoeless Joe Jackson lived in with his wife, Kate, until his death in 1951. In 2006, the home of Joe Jackson was dismantled, moved three miles, and reassembled on Field Street in the historic West End of Greenville, SC, directly across the street from Fluor Field, home the Greenville Drive, a minor-league division of the Boston Red Sox. In July 2007, the house was deeded to the Shoeless Joe Jackson Museum and Baseball Library foundation. On June 21, 2008, fans celebrated the dedication and grand opening of the museum! The not-for-profit museum displays records, artifacts, photographs, film and other items of interest associated with the historic life and baseball career of Shoeless Joe Jackson. A book collection related to baseball and its role in American culture is housed in Joe's former trophy room. Donations of books have been made by baseball enthusiasts from across America. The house number is 356, a reminder that Joe’s lifetime batting average was .356, the third highest in baseball history after Ty Cobb and Rogers Hornsby. The museum is FREE to all and there is also free on-site parking behind the museum! We also have a gift shop that accepts cash only. Come to see us & hang out at Shoeless Joe's house for a while! Our all-volunteer staff would love to give you a tour! Our passion is to educate old and new fans alike about one of the greatest baseball players in history!

"I have attended some of the best venues in the US from Washington DISORDERLY CONDUCT to LA and NYC to DFW and the BiLo center is better then many that claim to be the best. Greenville has a great place for entertainment in the BiLo center, when going to games or shows you always have a great seat, c..."oncerts are better at the BiLo center than the Staple Center (LAX) or NYC,s MSG. I have seen many concerts at BiLo in both general seating but in both forms of box seating. The box seating has some of the best services I have seen and are in par with or better than the so called best.
I saws rating about one person not being able to hear at a concert he paid over $550.00 for, first I have never paid over $175.00 for two tickets at the Bilo center and second it is the sound company's that work for the Artis and/or the promoter and not the BiLo center. I owned a company called Delmarva sound in the 70,s & 80's and if you were good you could make a Band or Artis sound great in a cement box so...

"Falls Park is such a pleasant place of respite in the midst of the city. It is easily to get to from downtown Greenville. It is clean and pleasant. A well done park.
There are a lot of stairs and climbing (it is a waterfall after all). I'm unsure of what access there is for those with limited walki..."ng abilities.
A wonderful place for a few hours rest in the middle of the city.

"This is a wonderful museum that doesn't overwhelm you. It's very convenient to downtown Greenville. Parking is nearby. The price is free.
The Wyeth collection is wonderful. It is excellently displayed to show the various themes and types of his work. I would have liked more information about each p..."icture (other than who was on the board of the donating group). We used our smart phones to get the information as we walked around. It was a good way to see a lot of Wyeth's work.
While the exhibits are on multiple floors, there is a very convenient elevator in the central area for those who either cannot or choose not to use the stairs.
