Really fancied booking some time in the NT cottage in the gardens! Cafe was very much a typical NT eatery - and that's no bad thing.   "Went to Powis Castle as We are Members of The National Trust,and had liked what We saw of this place in the Handbook. It never let Us down,The Views are Magnificent,and The Gardens are Spectacular.So well looked after,as are most of The National Trust Places. The Castle itself was very interesting...",We had The Guided Tour,so as to learn a little bit about the history,well worth doing.The Guides were very knowledgeable,and answered any questions readily. Went into The Little Cafe to have a drink and a well earned cake(I'm sure We walked off The Calories). We were very lucky with The Weather,as The Sun kept popping out Its head every now and then.   "The gardens are a must see at Powis Castle. The weather was on/off rainy but we still enjoyed venturing round and taking photographs. There are plenty of place to shelter and have a picnic as we did on a bench under a hedge!
