"My airplane landed at Salt Lake City at 2 PM and I was at Brighton by 4 to start night skiing. I returned to SLC after the lifts closed at 9. I skied the last weekend in 2013 for night skiing so the crowds were light. This was the only resort that was still offering night skiing this late in the sea..."son. Two lifts were open that led to numerous trails for all levels. I ate dinner at a mountainside restaurant after skiing for two hours. The food was great. This is an old school resort with old school lift tickets and facilities. It is very clean and great for families. No glitz or glamour here, but very enjoyable. Prices are very reasonable. I skied for $20(night lift ticket) I hope to return next year.

"At first blush, a little disappointing. This is not the ski resort for "bling." There are only a few places to stay - more about that later, and, except for a decent on-slope café, no real "dining" opportunities. However, if pure skiing is your main goal, this is it. Even on "busy" days, you can alw..."ays get on a lift with little or no waiting. The snow quality is "Utah pure"; the runs are varied with a nice mix for those intermediate/expert mixed groups, and the available terrain is extensive enough to give you several full days of skiing with no repeats. The staff are friendly and lift prices are reasonable. Tip: for quality lodging, stay at Solitude - just a few miles down the road. There you will find an abundance of quality lodging and some excellent dining experiences.

"This is Alta's alter-ego. A very shiny resort experience which gives skiers a "bling" alternative to the more laid-back Alta. It also has some very challenging terrain. If your group is more intermediate-focused, you might think twice about this trip."
