- Dinah YWashington DC, DC2,368 contributionsWines were from Italian grapes planted locally. The blended them following Italian traditions. This may all of the wines taste different than other Virginia wineries. They were all nice. The tasting room was not huge but felt very comfortable. It almost had a calming vibe to it. The winery dog Roxy was hanging out. They are very dog-friendly and my dog really liked Roxy.Written 31 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Di ZDallas12 contributionsYou'll find art from talented local artisans sold at Troika. Do ask questions about pieces, as pieces are made from techniques not found other places. Having worked at a gallery in the Dallas area I can assist to the unique pieces you will find at Troika.
Though the artisan made not have made the piece, they will be very knowledgeable of their work as if they were the artisan themself. This is rare.
During my time in Troika I was looking at an art piece for a wall space, which they without asking offered to make arrangements of pieces to get the same dimensions, various figurations. My intent was to come back the next day to make my purchase however plans changed and had to leave Floyd early than expected. However did learn they ship the day before! So if you are like me interested in a piece don't let that make you hestitate ask questions and know they ship!!
You will have a treasure purchasing a piece from Troika, from ewerly to a piece of art.Written 16 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Russ spent a lot of time illustrating current exhibition and principle of functioning for the "camera obscura" he has created in the center. He has a great collections of first everyday camera and shows how good the images can be even with these simple camera.Written 6 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jdoris922Levittown, PA25 contributionsDriving scenic vacation. The views are amazing. Took our time, and took a lot of pictures! Unfortunately, fog rolled in 2 of the mornings and left many of our morning views without distance but some eerie pics!Written 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LiveLoveTravelFeastSan Miguel de Allende, Mexico9 contributionsIncredible views and well-worth driving the single, gravel lane to get there. We have a small Honda car and were able to make it on the rough road.
The trail is a consistent steep grade to hike, but the views are spectacular — 360º of the valley. Make sure you go on a calm, clear day like we did, otherwise I would imagine the wind would be a force to be reckoned with up there. :-)Written 30 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Quite a nice selection of different things from oil paintings to earrings. Also kittens to adopt, so beware you might take a fuzzy friend home. :) The lady running it was pleasant and the items nicely displayed. Definitely worth stopping.Written 15 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- CRUIZN-MASSAttleboro, MA151 contributionsI was looking for photo oppportunities in and around Floyd, VA when passing through with my 1961 Impala Sport Coupe. The gas pumps outside of the Finders Keepers shop provided a perfect backdrop. After taking a picture and going inside to talk with the owner Daniel, I saw a pair of uphostered chairs that would be perfect for my home and wound up purchasing them a week later by phone and mail. I will be going back in August to pick them up and stay the weekend in Floyd to enjoy all that this great little town has to offer.Written 11 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
