The Segway Personal Transporter(tm) is environmentally-friendly, self-balancing, extremely easy to operate, and lots of fun! You’ll be an expert after 10 minutes of free training. We don’t just visit the battlefield sites. All tours are directed by a Licensed Battlefield Guide (recorded or in person) who will dramatically recount the events of the battle, the military blunders, and the heroic defenses that characterize this pivotal battle. If you aren't interested in the history, we also offer escorted Segway rides. Or try our new indoor Segway obstacle course!

Spend the first 30 minutes learning to use the investigative equipment you will be using including EMF meters, K2 meters, infra-red laser guided digital thermometers and digital voice recorders. Then spend an exciting 1 1/2 hours conducting a mini investigation with GPS founder, Betty Roche. Ms. Roche will be taking pictures during the entire event and will provide you with a free disk of the best pictures. The tour is available only to guests of the Lightner Farmhouse B&B. All tours begin and end at the B&B. Tours are conducted on the farmhouse grounds and some off site locations.

The “Ghosts of Gettysburg Tours” are best described as a combination of history and mystery. The battle that took place in Gettysburg was horrific. We do our best to treat the men who gave their lives with the respect they deserve. We use ghost stories, as relayed to Mr. Nesbitt by those who have experienced them, to explore what happened here. Anyone can make up a scary ghost story, but somehow, knowing that people experienced the ghostly happenings that our guides describe, has to make one wonder if an encounter is in your own future! Our tours include as much of the town as can be walked comfortably. The buildings in Gettysburg are all privately owned, but from what we've been told, just as many ghosts are wandering the streets as are hanging out within four walls! If you're looking for a "halloween haunted house" kind of experience, this is not the tour for you!
