"The current expansion ( aquarium ) and recent improvements make for a wonderful visit. The animal selection is good ( not like the NC Zoo in Asheboro, NC ) but offers a wide exotic selection - my favorites are the Asian Otters especially around feeding time. They have a turkey that rooms the grounds..." among other things. A great asset for the Piedmont Triad.

"The garden is across the street from the Tanger Bisc. Garden. The Bog Garden starts with a wonderful nature trail to a stream then following a boarded and railed walkway along the stream and bog areas to a lake. Small wildlife is abundant throughout the garden. Very shaded and great for spring and s..."ummer visits. A key area is what I call the founders corner where a nice tribute to the founder is a tranquil stone waterfall, seating and plants. A feature of this garden is cameras and motion detectors so don't plan on anything illegal. Well hid for nature - lol. More of a shade, nature and bog garden which is different than Bisc. Garden which is more formed and colorful with blooming flowers. The Bog Garden is a unique feature to the Greensboro landscape.

"A great place to visit for couples, families and groups. Most trails are paved with some nature areas for shade plants. This garden also features a wedding area, sculpture and children's play areas near by. A wide selection of trees, plants & shrubs. Best to visit spring thru fall but with the everg..."reens winter is good also. Perfect for exercise. On occasion musicians frequent and practice their music which is an added touch ( if they are good - lol ). We visit several times a year.
