We stayed at the friendly Hotel lá Caravella. Ideal location for exploring this amazing little town full of cobbled streets that reveal quaint restarants, churches, shops. Safe, endearing gem.

This beatiful castle over the hill of ancient village was made by Byzantines so we are talking about a castle of more than 1500 years , what we can see today are the walls fortificaded in 15th century by the family of Sanseverino

Beautiful small beach with crystal clear water. Great for snorkelling and just hanging out. Not very busy during the week but we were there in June.

The Beach is Short but the water is very Shallow and Blue.

The owner of the jamaica bar is very unfriendly, especially against non italian tourists. Food is rather medium and expensive. We got two paninis for around 9€ without salt and pepper and the bread was obviously from the day before.

This characteristic stairway is one of rare examples of steps very deep and very short together. It’s one ( for centuries the unique way) of the way to reach the ancient village and the castle over the hill

I visited with my family last week.
Assunta was the most wonderful host and showed us around the vineyard before showing us how the wine is made. We were then treated to a truly beautiful meal with wine. We had two children with us and Assunta was exceptionally generous and accommodating, I really enjoyed our conversation. Thank you so much, we have all spoken about it to our family and friends and it was truly an experience we will never forget. Very best wishes for a good harvest, I hope we will visit again.

For those who can travel by boat, this is a beautiful point for starting to visit the Cilento area, with his blue sea, historical cities and wonderful food
