"We visited the Ceramic Museum after visiting the Museo Pantaleon Panduro. We had a wonderful guide at MPP who told us a great deal about the different types of pottery. I would recommend going there first - you will appreciate the Ceramic Museum more.
We also had delightful conversations with the w..."oman in the gift shop (very nice things) and a gentleman who was weaving in the courtyard. Being weavers ourselves we had a lot to talk about!
Well worth a visit.

"The tour was fantastic for a person wanting to learn about the Mexician culture and traditional food. I learned about the local history, how to eat some of the common foods and learned about the location enough to return on my own to explore. The guide was very knowledgeable and spoke both Spanish ..."and English very well.
We ate at 8 different locations, small portions, and everything was well prepared. The fee to joint the tour included all the food.
I would strongly recommend this to anyone who is interested in culture and wishing to explore.

"The works in this museum were part of annual competitions and come from different areas in Jalisco. A lovely woman came up to us as we entered and took us through the museum explaining a great deal about the techniques used in each kind of ceramic in English.
I was just blown away by some of the wor..."k. It was beautiful and intricate and SO varied. We went around the exhibit a second time by ourselves after our guide left us.
The museum is state supported and there is no charge. We would have liked to have made a contribution but that is a no no.
