"Took advantage of the sunny day to go to St Michael's Mount. Walked across at low tide and came back on the boat to experience the best of both worlds. Went up to the top of the Mount so paid the National Trust fee which was worth it as there was a deal going. My Nan and great aunt came with myself ..."and my Dad and so we helped them up the steep path (not an easy path, worse coming down). Once at the top, fantastic views and the castle at the top was worth a visit. Although I went for the castle, you could just go for the views from the top in future. A very good cafe at the bottom too, delicious Cornish cream tea.

"Went over to the island on a nice sunny day. Enjoyed a cream tea at the island café and a relaxing wander round the castle and gardens. Very nice.
I will add though that it is very steep and cobbled so wear sensible shoes!"
