The hall in this riding school was originally built in the 1700s to provide aristocratic children a place to take riding instructions. Today, it remains a traditional riding school for Lipizzaner horses, where classic equestrian skills are practiced.

The school offers performances, viewing of training sessions, guided tours and visits... More to the stables. During performances, visitors sit in the riding hall built in 1729-1735 by Baroque architect Joseph Emanuel Fischer von Erlach.

The museum, located in MuseumsQuartier, lets children explore the world with their senses. Four different areas are located over the 1,600 square meters of the museum:

ZOOM Animated Film Studio (ages 8-14)
Children learn and experiment with film and sound.

ZOOM Exhibition (ages 6-12)
Interactive, changing exhi... Morebitions about science, art, culture, and architecture.

ZOOM Studio (ages 3-12)
Children can paint, cut things out, build, spray, create and work with paste while being assisted by an artist.

ZOOM Ocean (ages 6 and under)
The ocean is a play-and-adventure area for toddlers and preschool children. The unique objects in the “underwater world,” on the ship “Famosa” and at the “Research submarine” invite children to play.

ZOOM is closed on Mondays.
