For a small town, Geilenkirchen offers a shockingly good amount of shopping and restaurants. The room itself was very spacious for three people, and the hotel was very clean. My husband and I stayed here for well over a week while waiting for a house. Couch was super uncomfortable, and the queen bed was two twins pushed together which is common for Europe. Hotel is RIGHT next to the train station which makes sleep verydifficult in the summer with no A/C.

I almost rated average but after a second thought, decided to go for above average. Because it has this great location, next to the train station and all amenities.
