Booked this hotel for a two hour afternoon rest in a quadraple room. Very clean room with clean linen & very airy.Really couldn't complain. Visited Acitrezza for the day & location is ideal. Lino, the manager is the right man for the job. Very very helpful, went out of his way to see to all our requests. An educated gentleman. Thank you.

Don't go there !!! Never !!! Shocking hotel. More like a dwelling of beasts, rather than a hotel. Everything is filthy. No soap. No WiFi, no toilet papers. No towels. There are no light bulbs. Worst of all, there is no one to talk to !!!

On the webpage, it's a very nice hotel. A spa, gym, pool, many conference halls, rooms with balconies, a cafe and banquet hall. In reality, it's a shadow of its former self. Very little of it's amenities are actually available. The spa, gym and pool are closed. The conference rooms are being worked and are months away from being ready. The bottom centers and spa look like a crypt and were closed during our visit. Wifi doesn't even work. Rooms didn't even have toilet paper. Electrical issues made one of our companions miss her alarm. Rooms were not cleaned. Beware the shady owners. They conned us into paying for a dinner we didn't ask for. They lied when we asked about the whereabouts of one of our travel companions saying she was in when she wasn't. Significant incompetence with the staff otherwise. The porter is capable of only doing one thing at a time. Only manager speaks English. Very little coordination among the skeletal crew Food was the only highlight for dinner though with huge portions. Breakfast is just deli meats, rolls, and cornettos though. 1/10. Would not recommend.

This hotel has provided us a very friendly and warm welcome throughout our business stay. The hotel is very central, so you will find lots of amazing coastline, restaurants and cafes and gelato spots, at a walk from your room! In five minutes walk you'll enjoy the Faraglioni dei Ciclopi view, an amazing place! It is a 4 star at a very convenient price, so if you're looking for luxurious furniture and gourmet kitchen this is not the place, you will simply need to spend quite more, in farer locations.

Nice hotel, very close to the beach. Staff is OK, but not everyone is nice. Rooms have balconies, TV and refrigerator. I was in a triple room. Third bed was small and less comfortable. They have some interconnecting rooms. Not all rooms have WiFi. The AC can only be controlled through the reception. Hotel is in need of some restoration. There is construction work in the area at the moment, which might disturb a longer sleep. The restaurant belonging to the hotel is nice, but the food at lunch is very slow. Probably understaffed. Breakfast is sufficient, and until 10am. A bus stop to Catania, is very close to the hotel (once every hour). There are shops and mini markets close by. There is a Gym and Spa at the hotel.

We stayed one night at the Marina Palace and had a good stay. Rooms were clean and tidy, reception staff spoke great English and were very helpful to our group and the food and drink were very good. Can definitely recommend for a business trip.

We invited some friends and each enjoyed a wonderful promotional package for 2. My husband & I were thrilled to have a vigorous workout in the well equipped gym. The Wet Zone, included walking through hydro jets with various temperatures of water, this helps with circulation. The sauna and Turkish bath surely helped detox. Power jet showers were rather stimulating. Jacuzzi tub for two and finally a Relaxation area to enjoy various herbal teas and offerings of seasonal fruits. What a delightful afternoon. Thanks to the Manager Lucia and the expert massage from Alesia. A feather in your cap ladies. Very professional staff. Will return soon. Marah and Norbert Toronto, Canada

Touring around Sicily sounded an interesting idea and both my husband and I were looking forward to seeing the ancient sites and experiencing some great Italian food. Sites are a plenty, unfortunately on this tour the food was lacking big time. "Four star" hotel. Sorry it is not in this bracket at all. We spent three nights here, rooms big and had a large balcony but not set up with any seats. Cleaning could have been better in our bathroom as toilet pan was not that clean. Dead flies not removed from behind curtains (net ones) in the restaurant. Pasta on all three evenings very poor, one night fish which was nice but why serve tepid boiled potatoes ruined what could have been one of the better meals. Breakfast was a bit of a shambles, needed to be down stairs early to have a chance of getting boiled eggs, meat (poor quality), and cheese We were on a tour and two or three tours were also staying the same time. The hotel has 57 rooms. Could not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pass this one by. Nice sleepy fishing village, but hotel is ghastly looking. Unfortunately it does not improve on the inside. Rooms are very basic, MFI/IKEA type furniture, very dark. The food is terrible. Average pasta starter, but the main course consisted of a chicken schnitzel, with two slices of aubergine and a single piece of fruit for dessert. The second night was no better. Breakfast was typical Italian continental style, which was adequate. I think someone was having a joke when they categorised this a 4*. I think it would struggle to make a 2*. Have to say the safe was free as was the wifi, which you could access throughout the hotel.

Hotel is nicely located, easy to reach but needs a renovation. Garage is double expensive as written on an outside placed advert (at the entrance of the garage). Beginning September were only a few guests using that hotel that breakfast room was not opened and you had to order your breakfast evening before to get it delivered to your room. Staff at reception were extremely friendly and helpful.
