Great guest house, close to beach, Mandrem itself is quite and laid back, but you can walk along the beach to Arambol (about 30 mins) and taxi back about 200 ruppes, loads for hippes and bars etc. More

The rooms were so-so and only cleaned when I asked. The food was crap. I liked the staff (who work long hours) but there's no one there who's really overseeing things, so it's poorly maintained. I'd recommend a place right on the beach instead -- the view would make up for any faults of the hotel. More
