If you stay at this hotel, request the second story for a fantanstic view of the ocean. The hotel is located right on the beach. It's a very afordable and in a small beach town within walking distance to playa conchal and 20 minutes to tamarindo.

My second stay here. First time over xmas 2012. Loved it so much came back April 2013. If you want real Costa Rica, you have it here, noisy neighbours and all. Located on the upper west coast this is a no frills hotel, although you do get complimentary wi-fi. Just a few feet from the beach. The room was basic but spotless. The room very affordable. The location is right on the beach. If any complaint it's noisy between dogs, roosters and howler monkeys. Beautiful beach with lots of nice restaurants close.
