Good location for the night climb but the rooms have thin walls and it can be hard to sleep as people move about the place. Breakfast after the very hard hike was very good. Owners were very helpful.

We stayed here for a short rest before climbing Adam's Peak. We were expecting it to be just the bare minimum but were pleasantly surprised that the room was so big and comfortable. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the starting point of Adam's Peak. We set off to climb around 2am and made it to the...

We stayed there on our night prior to climb Adam's Peak. It offers basic accomodation, but considering the surroundings, it looks like a great choice. Dinner was good and breakfast after the hiking was superb: excllent food with views over the mountain.

We stayed here for one night and thought it might be a bit of a dive but proved much nicer than anticipated. We had a spacious clean room with a view of Adams Peak, own bathroom and tolerable shower. The food was good- particularly excellent breakfast. The attitude of the guest house was helpful and thoughtful. It was cheap but...

The accommodation offer in Delhousie is limited and Slightly Chilled would be one of the best options in town. I can't really compare the guesthouses, but from what I saw I thought we made a good choice.
The rate of a room includes breakfast and dinner. That's great, because eating out here is I think impossible. All rooms have a...

We only stayed here as we were climbing Adam's Peak. The guesthouse misunderstood our email, so instead of 2 rooms, we got a family room with 2 double beds, our own toilet and a balcony overlooking Adam's Peak. The water pressure is a little low though, if you want hot water. The guesthouse provided a dinner buffet of curries, which...

We needed a place to stay for our trip to Adam's Peak/Sri Pada. From various blogs and posts on the internet, Slightly Chilled hotel was recommended as one of few places at Dalhousie. It's really close to the trail up Adam's Peak, so the location is great (5 min walk until you are on the main trail). We had dinner...

This was by far the most expensive of the hotels we stayed at in Sri Lanka, and by far the worst.
The room was poor - the sheets, pillows, towels etc were very old and worn. The balcony door didn't shut properly so we were concerned about security when we left for the hike.
The food was ok, but just...

After a long train delay we arrived late into Dalhousie on a super busy Saturday night. Luckily we had booked a night at Slightly Chilled. Their staff kept in contact with us by text so kept our booking despite our delay in arriving. When we did finally arrive, we found a delicious dinner had been prepared for us already, perfect...

We stayed at Slightly Chilled for one night before climbing Adams Peak at 2am. Was a great base to get a couple of hours sleep, eat dinner and have a hot shower (although at 60 usd a night we felt it was a little expensive) our room was probably one of the nicest, huge room with a sort of separate...
