Kagaya is famous for its service, and i think it's not over-rated. hotel itself isn't so value for money, but the service is REALLY GOOD!
not much to see in the neighborhood or the area, and the transportation to Nanao isn't so easy either.

Went their on company trip. Arrived by bus and greeted by traditionally dressed hotel staff. The service was impeccable and the onsen spectacular. What a great experience and oh yea the view was awesome.
