We have just returned from our first visit to Peninsula Cottages. Our home for the week was No 53, a four bedroom property, overlooking the water both front and back. The cottages are situated in a marina, just off of the main Broads. Very peaceful! The cottage itself - Ground floor: Toilet. Open plan kitchen (fridge freezer, microwave, electric cooker)... More

I have a very mixed view of the standard of accommodation at this cottage. The place was very roomy and the site perfect for fishing, but there are few things that need to be addressed. 1/ The overall standard of cleanliness was very poor ( black mould in upstairs shower) 2/ We had a leak in the bathroom on the... We stayed at No. 51 end of March, the weather was fabulous. The cottage is large, very clean, pretty spot and just off the main river. The cottage was immaculate, with modern furniture, including and L shape luxury leather sette with personal recliners.Kitchen had all amenities you need, same in bathroom, also washroom downstairs. Decking area spacious with rattan furniture... More

The wife, dog and I stayed at no 28 over Easter. We wanted to get away last minute and booked it on the Thursday before Good Friday. It was expensive but understandable for the time of year. We turned up early and were able to check in by 14:00ish. The apartment was cosy rather than small and the front room... More

We stayed in No15 Pennisular cottages for a weekend recently. The cottage was very nice, clean and modern although we struggled with the electric hob, and I think any more than two people would find it cramped. It was also FREEZING, partly because of the weather, but it felt like it would be chilly all year round. Wroxham itself was... More

Family of 4 stayed in No.41 July 2011 and had a fantastic weeks holiday. Cottage decked out to very high standard, very clean, plenty of room and very comfortable. If you want the broads look no further as this cottage is in an excellent location. Decked seating area at the back of the cottage was great to relax on after... More

We have just returned from a weeks stay in No 15. Very clean and tidy and its hard to find fault with the accomodation. Only issue was the quirky plumbing in the upstairs bathroom, difficult to get hot water and the shower kept going hot and cold. Location was excellent with the town a few minutes walk away and even... More

Last year we stayed at number 24 and it was brilliant. The cottage was a dream, well looked after and furnished. Loads to do in Wroxham and the 10% beer at The Shed just rounded everything off. Unfortunately this year we got number 14, Blackfriars and it was dirty, shabby, noisy and very uncomfortable, a huge disappointment considering the price... More

We have stayed in number 51 twice and 56 this year and would highly recommend it, on all of our visits we have had no faults what so ever, even being given the keys to look at one of the other properties by Andy the site owner, we have dealt with Pat and Andy every time and found them to... More

My return visit to the site and a lot has changed. There is now a bar on site which has many different beers to taste and my general view of the site was it was much improved. Many of the cottages seem to have been refurbished and the one I stayed in was lovely, with a large flat screen TV,... More
